Charred sirloin steak marinated in Kogi Korean BBQ Sauce, served over jasmine rice with wok-charred brussels sprouts and bacon.

Korean BBQ Steak Tips with wok-charred Brussels sprouts

ingredients

  • 2 cups Sirloin steak, marinated, grilled
  • 1/4 cup Kogi Korean BBQ Marinade and Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Toasted sesame oil
  • 2 cups Jasmine Rice, cooked
  • 2 cups wok-charred Brussels sprouts (see instructions below)

directions

  1. Marinate steak for a minimum of 2 hours in Kogi Korean BBQ Marinade and Sauce.
  2. Drain steak and grill over hot char-grill until rare to medium rare.
  3. Remove steak from grill, plate alongside hot jasmine rice.
  4. Place wok charred brussels sprouts (instructions below) on side.

ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Bacon
  • 2 cups Brussels Sprouts
  • 1/8 cup Toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Red onion

directions

  1. Cook bacon and reserve grease.
  2. Cut Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise and toss with bacon grease.
  3. Place in hot 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes. Remove and hold until needed.
  4. Add toasted sesame oil to hot wok until smoking.
  5. Add Brussels sprouts, red onions and bacon. Toss until sprouts are charred.
